Description Our Imaging Quality and Service Improvement (QSI) Lead works alongside the Clinical Imaging (CI) Team Leads and supervisors to facilitate the effective delivery of clinical governance through robust quality management within the departmental clinical governance framework.

This role is responsible for assuring patient safety and that Imaging clinical practice is in keeping with evidence-based practice, clinical guidelines, professional recommendations, and implementation of national directives. A key aspect of this role supports patient experience and facilitates patient partnership in service evaluation and redesign.

This role is responsible for the clinical governance activities within the imaging department, including management of incidents, associated improvement actions, and departmental risk register.





The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We serve a population of around 500,000 people - a figure that can increase significantly with visitors during the busiest times of the year.
